• JROTC

One of the many programs we are proud of at Mount is our Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Program. JROTC teaches students the value of citizenship, leadership, service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. #MountPRIDE

    Spotlight on Mount

Our after school club, Girls Empowered kicked off it's 6th year with an interest meeting with advisor and ELA teacher, Taria Pritchett. 40 girls from MPHS were in attendance to learn more about the club, and did a workshop called, Mirror, Mirror On the Wall: How to Love Your Selfie & All. This club meets bi-monthly and any interested in girls should see Ms. Pritchett to join.#MountPRIDE

    Spotlight on Mount

Spotlight on Mount: Our Culinary Arts program @ MPHS is designed to teach high school students culinary and management skills needed for a career in the hospitality industry. Students are trained to be the best and brightest, learning from industry-driven ProStart curriculum that builds real-work skills. Students gain valuable hands-on experience and get to work in a commercial kitchen setting. Students may also earn their ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification, which is industry recognized nationally for (5) years, and receive early college credits for completing the certification. #MountPRIDE
