Mrs. Jill E. Mills

My name is Jill E. Mills, and I am the 7th Grade School Counselor, as well as the Middle School Gifted Liaison, here at P.S. DuPont Middle School.   I grew up in the Brandywine School District, attending Lancashire Elementary (K-3rd), P.S. DuPont Elementary (4th-6th at the time), Hanby Middle (7th-8th at the time), and graduating from Concord High School in 1999.  I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education K-8 with a Discipline in English/Language Arts and a minor in Psychology.  In 2009, I graduated from Wilmington University with my Masters of Education in Secondary School Counseling.  I have been with the Brandywine School District for 145 years now (5 years as an English/Language Arts teacher at Hanby Middle School; 8 years as an English/Language Arts teacher at Talley Middle School).  This is my second year as a middle school counselor.  When I am not at school, I enjoy listening to music, spending time at the beach, and spending time with my family (specifically my husband, Ryan, our children - Makenna and Collin, and our furbaby - Juliet) and friends.
