• Early Childhood Assistance Program

    ECAP

     

    Brandywine ECAP is a state-funded preschool program with FREE tuition for income-eligible families.  Children must be four years old by August 31st and live in the Brandywine School District to participate in the program.

     

    The full day program operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the P.S. duPont Early Learning Center, located at 701 W. 34th St.

     

    Brandywine ECAP provides students with a low teacher to student ratio.  There are a maximum of seventeen students per classroom with both a teacher and paraprofessional.

     

    Breakfast and lunch are served. 

     

    Developmental, physical and dental evaluations are offered.  Individualized instruction is offered for students with special needs in addition to speech, occupational and physical therapy.  Social work services are also available for all families.
