    About Me 

    My Education: Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences Education, University of Delaware 2004

    My Experience: I began my teaching career as a science teacher, and I have taught both 7th and 8th grade science. I became interested in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) as it became a growing field in education. I went on to get my certification in math and technology education as well as science and have been teaching STEM at Springer since the 2008-09 school year. I love the fact that I have a chance to work with my students on real-life problems and to integrate the middle school science and math curriculums into a problem-based learning format that uses technology and engineering to solve a problem.
