About Me

My Education:   Many moons ago, I graduated from Brandywine High School.  I went on to receive my Bachelor’s Degree in Leisure/Sport Management from Elon University and have my Master’s Degree in Special Education from Wilmington University.

My Experience:   I have been a teacher of exceptional children for over 5 years.  I have taught grades 6 - 8 across all contents.  I have my Certifications in Middle School Math, Middle School ELA and Special Education, K-12.

Teaching Philosophy:   Every moment is a teachable moment.

Personal Interests: I enjoy reading, going to the movies and hanging out with friends & family.  I have 3 children who are/have been  in the Brandywine School District and all 3 have gone through Springer!  I also have 3 dogs, Jagger, Koda and Nyla.

There’s nothing that I’d rather be doing than helping students learn and grow throughout their middle school years in order to prepare them not only for high school, but for a hopeful future.
