• The Brandywine School District administers STAR Benchmark assessments in reading and mathematics for grades 2 - 10, three times a year.  STAR assessments are computer-adapted assessments developed by Renaissance Learning and take usually 20  minutes at the elementary level and 30 minutes at the secondary level.  STAR results are nationally normed and produce a scale score and a percentile rank. Teachers can share results during Parent Conferences. Renaissance Learning also produces several reports at the individual and class level to assist teachers when planning and adjusting instruction in their classroom.
