    The mission of the Transportation Office of the Brandywine School District is to provide safe transportation to the students of and in support of the educational functions and school activities of the Brandywine School District.

    About National School Transportation

    The school transportation industry has an outstanding safety record.  Nationwide 450,000 school buses transport more than 25 million K-12 students daily. 

    In Brandywine, approximately 8,000 school children are transported daily on 91 buses servicing 405 routes to 18 schools.  The Brandywine School District strives to ensure that its students are transported safely, and is committed to the professional training of its drivers.  The District annually provides in-service training to its drivers on the topics of defensive driving, student behavior management, winter driving techniques, road rage by other drivers, State and Federal motor vehicle laws, and other related topics.
