This school year, BSD's high school athletic departments started a new tradition.  Following every intra-District athletic competition (varsity, junior varsity, and freshman teams), the coaches select a player on the opposing team to receive the BSD Sportsmanship Coin.  Students from Brandywine, Concord, and Mount Pleasant have enjoyed receiving their collectible coins as a token of their hard work, integrity, and positive spirit.  As an added benefit, players from different schools have grown to know each other a bit better both during and after competitions.
